Ingredients
Mini waffles (homemade or store-bought)
1 cup strawberries, hulled and halved
1 banana, peeled and sliced into ½-inch rounds
Chocolate sauce, for drizzling
Wooden or bamboo skewers (6–8 inches)
Instructions
- If using whole or frozen waffles, toast or warm them until crisp, then cut into bite-sized pieces.
- Wash and hull strawberries, then slice the banana into ½-inch thick rounds.
- Alternate waffle pieces and fruit on the skewers, leaving about an inch at the end for a handle.
- Drizzle chocolate sauce over the assembled skewers.
- Serve immediately to maintain crispness and freshness.
Notes
Best enjoyed fresh; store undrizzled in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 day.
Use gluten-free waffles if needed for dietary preferences.
Try swapping in blueberries, kiwi, or pineapple for variation.
Nutella or peanut butter can be used instead of chocolate sauce for a richer twist.
Top with chopped nuts or granola for extra texture.
