Description

Perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, these air fryer baked potatoes are a quick and easy side dish made without turning on the oven.

Ingredients

4 medium russet potatoes

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon sea salt

Optional toppings: butter, sour cream, shredded cheese, chopped chives, crumbled bacon, black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
  2. Wash and scrub the potatoes thoroughly.
  3. Dry the potatoes with a towel and pierce each a few times with a fork.
  4. Rub each potato with olive oil and sprinkle evenly with sea salt.
  5. Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket in a single layer with space between them.
  6. Cook for 35–40 minutes, flipping halfway through, until a fork easily pierces the center.
  7. Slice open, fluff the insides with a fork, and add desired toppings.

Notes

Use sweet potatoes for a naturally sweeter version.

Add garlic powder or smoked paprika to the oil for extra flavor.

For a heartier meal, top with chili, beans, or sautéed veggies.

Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days in an airtight container.

Reheat in the air fryer at 375°F for 5–7 minutes for best texture.
