Ingredients
2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
3 cups egg noodles, cooked
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 cup sour cream
1 cup cottage cheese
1/2 cup milk
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped celery
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 cup crushed buttery crackers
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and lightly grease a baking dish.
- Melt the butter in a skillet and sauté the onion and celery until softened.
- In a large bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, cottage cheese, and milk, and stir until smooth.
- Add the shredded chicken, cooked noodles, sautéed vegetables, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and paprika, then mix well.
- Fold in half of the cheddar cheese and half of the mozzarella cheese.
- Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Top with the remaining cheese and sprinkle crushed buttery crackers over the top.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, until bubbly and golden brown.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
