Description

Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 1/2 cups white sugar

1 egg

2 cups apples, peeled, cored, and chopped

1/2 cup chopped walnuts


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, mix melted butter and sugar until combined, then beat in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Stir the dry ingredients into the wet mixture just until combined.
  5. Fold in the chopped apples and walnuts evenly.
  6. Spread the batter into the prepared pan.
