Description
This Apple Cinnamon Roll Bake is a warm, gooey, and incredibly easy dessert made with cinnamon rolls and apple pie filling. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dessert, it delivers bakery-style comfort with minimal effort.
Ingredients
1 can (8-count) refrigerated cinnamon rolls with icing
1 can (21 ounces) apple pie filling, apples chopped into small pieces
Vanilla ice cream for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Open the cinnamon roll can and set aside the icing packet. Cut each cinnamon roll into four equal pieces and place them in a large mixing bowl.
- Add the chopped apple pie filling to the bowl and gently stir until all the cinnamon roll pieces are evenly coated.
- Transfer the mixture into a 10-inch cast-iron skillet or similar oven-safe baking dish, spreading it into an even layer.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through. If the tops brown too quickly, loosely cover with aluminum foil during the last 5 minutes of baking.
- Remove from the oven and drizzle the reserved icing over the top. Serve warm, optionally with vanilla ice cream.
Notes
Add chopped pecans or walnuts for extra crunch.
Sprinkle additional ground cinnamon or nutmeg for more spice.
Swap apple pie filling with peach or cherry for a different flavor variation.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheat in the microwave for 20–30 seconds or in a 300°F oven for about 10 minutes.
Freeze individual portions for up to 2 months and thaw in the refrigerator before reheating.
