Ingredients
2 large apples, chopped
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup almond flour
2 tbsp coconut oil, melted
1 1/2 tbsp maple syrup (or honey)
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine chopped apples with cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice. Mix well.
- Spread the apple mixture into a small greased baking dish.
- In another bowl, mix rolled oats, almond flour, melted coconut oil, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until crumbly.
- Sprinkle the crumble mixture evenly over the apples.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, until the topping is golden and the apples are soft and bubbling.
- Serve warm, optionally with yogurt or almond milk.
