Description

Berry lemonade is the ultimate refreshing drink for hot summer days, combining the sweetness of fresh berries with the tartness of lemons. It’s vibrant, easy to prepare, and the perfect balance of sweet and tart flavors.


Ingredients

1 cup strawberries, hulled

1/2 cup blueberries

1/2 cup raspberries

1/2 cup blackberries

1/4 cup fresh lemon juice (about 2 lemons)

1/4 cup honey or maple syrup (or to taste)

4 cups cold water

Ice cubes

Lemon slices, for garnish

Fresh mint, for garnish


Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, lemon juice, and honey or maple syrup.
  2. Blend until smooth. Then, strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove the seeds and pulp.
  3. Pour the berry liquid into a large pitcher and add cold water. Stir to combine.
  4. Taste and adjust the sweetness, adding more honey or maple syrup if desired.
  5. Serve the berry lemonade over ice, garnished with lemon slices and fresh mint.

Notes

Tip: For a fizzy twist, substitute sparkling water for regular water.

Citrus twist: Add lime juice for a citrusy punch.

Frozen fruits can be used for a thicker texture and colder lemonade.

Store any leftover lemonade in the fridge for 2-3 days for the best taste.
