Description

These Burger Bowls deliver all the classic cheeseburger flavors in a fresh, bun-free format. Packed with seasoned beef, crisp veggies, cheese, and a tangy sauce, they are quick, satisfying, and easy to customize.

Ingredients

1 lb lean ground beef

2 cups shredded romaine lettuce

1 cup diced tomatoes

1/2 cup sliced pickles

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

2 teaspoons burger seasoning (garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper)

1/4 cup barbecue sauce or ranch dressing

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the ground beef along with the burger seasoning.
  2. Cook the beef for 7 to 10 minutes, breaking it apart as it cooks, until browned and fully cooked.
  3. While the beef cooks, shred the romaine lettuce, dice the tomatoes, and slice the pickles.
  4. Once the beef is cooked, remove it from heat and drain any excess grease if needed.
  5. Assemble each bowl by adding shredded lettuce as the base.
  6. Top with cooked beef, diced tomatoes, sliced pickles, and shredded cheddar cheese.
  7. Drizzle barbecue sauce or ranch dressing over the top.
  8. Serve immediately.

Notes

Swap ground beef with ground turkey for a lighter option.

Add toppings like avocado, sautéed mushrooms, or onions for extra flavor.

For a homemade burger sauce, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard.

Store cooked beef separately in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Keep fresh ingredients separate until serving to maintain texture.
