Description
Caramel Apple Grapes are a fun, bite-sized twist on the classic caramel apple. Crisp green grapes are dipped in soft caramel and rolled in crushed peanuts or pretzels, creating a sweet-and-salty snack that’s perfect for parties, holidays, or lunchboxes.
Ingredients
1 pound seedless green grapes, washed and thoroughly dried
1/2 cup soft caramel (store-bought or homemade)
1/2 cup crushed peanuts (or crushed pretzels for nut-free option)
Toothpicks
Instructions
- Insert a toothpick into the top of each grape and set aside.
- Line a baking sheet or tray with parchment paper.
- Warm the caramel just enough to make it dippable, without overheating.
- Dip each grape about 3/4 of the way into the caramel and let the excess drip off.
- Immediately roll the caramel-coated portion in crushed peanuts or pretzels.
- Place the coated grapes on the prepared tray.
- Repeat until all grapes are coated.
- Chill in the fridge for at least 15 minutes to set the caramel.
Notes
Use red grapes for a sweeter variation.
Crushed graham crackers or mini chocolate chips make great coating alternatives.
Drizzle with melted dark chocolate for a gourmet touch.
Add a dash of sea salt for extra flavor contrast.
Use flavored caramels like maple or cinnamon for seasonal flair.
