Description

This Caramel Brownie Cheesecake is a decadent dessert combining a rich brownie base, smooth cheesecake filling, and a luscious caramel drizzle. Perfect for any special occasion or sweet craving.

Ingredients

1 box brownie mix (plus ingredients listed on the box)

24 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup granulated sugar

3 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 cup heavy cream

1 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare the brownie mix according to the package instructions and spread the batter evenly into the bottom of a greased 9-inch springform pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs. Allow the brownie crust to cool completely.
  2. While the brownie is cooling, prepare the cheesecake filling. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and sugar together until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract and heavy cream, and mix until the batter is smooth.
  4. Pour the cheesecake batter over the cooled brownie base in the springform pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  5. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the cheesecake is set and slightly golden around the edges. Let it cool completely at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to set fully.
  6. Before serving, drizzle the caramel sauce over the top of the cheesecake. Slice and enjoy!

Notes

Ensure the cheesecake is slightly jiggly in the center when done baking to prevent cracking.

Refrigerate the cheesecake for at least 4 hours (or overnight) for the best results.

You can use homemade or store-bought caramel sauce.

If you prefer a nutty crunch, sprinkle chopped nuts like pecans or walnuts on top of the caramel drizzle.

For extra chocolaty flavor, drizzle melted chocolate over the caramel sauce.

To avoid cracks, let the cheesecake cool gradually and avoid opening the oven door frequently while baking.
