Description

Juicy garlic-seasoned steak bites covered in melted mozzarella and Parmesan, served over creamy linguine. This indulgent yet easy dish is perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.

Ingredients

1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces

1 tablespoon olive oil

3 tablespoons butter, divided

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

8 oz linguine pasta

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup whole milk

1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season steak bites with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat. Sear steak bites for 1-2 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.
  4. Reduce heat to medium and add remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Return steak bites to the skillet. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan on top, cover, and cook for 2-3 minutes until cheese is melted.
  6. In a separate saucepan, combine heavy cream, milk, garlic powder, nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Heat over medium, stirring until warmed through.
  7. Add the cooked linguine to the cream sauce and toss to coat evenly.
  8. Serve steak bites over creamy linguine and garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

Use ribeye or New York strip for richer flavor.

Try provolone or Italian cheese blend for variety.

Add mushrooms or spinach for extra veggies.

Include red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.

Swap pasta with zucchini noodles for a low-carb option.

Reheat gently on the stovetop with added cream or milk for best texture.
