Description
A rich and creamy no-bake dessert made with layers of crushed Oreo crust, smooth cheesecake filling, chocolate pudding, and fluffy whipped topping, finished with chocolate chips and shavings.
Ingredients
36 Oreo cookies, crushed
6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups whipped topping, divided
2 (3.9-ounce) packages instant chocolate pudding mix
3 cups cold milk
1 1/2 cups mini chocolate chips
Chocolate shavings for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Combine crushed Oreo cookies and melted butter in a medium bowl until evenly coated. Press firmly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish to form a crust. Refrigerate for 10–15 minutes to set.
- In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese, sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Fold in 1 cup of whipped topping. Spread evenly over the chilled crust.
- In another bowl, whisk together instant chocolate pudding mix and cold milk for 2–3 minutes until thickened. Spread evenly over the cream cheese layer.
- Top with remaining whipped topping, smoothing to fully cover the pudding layer.
- Sprinkle mini chocolate chips and optional chocolate shavings over the top.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until fully set before slicing and serving.
Notes
Chill overnight for cleaner slices and better flavor development.
Use stabilized homemade whipped cream if substituting for whipped topping.
Golden Oreos can be used for a different flavor variation.
Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
Freeze for up to 1 month and thaw in the refrigerator before serving.
