Ingredients
2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
1 cup granulated sugar, divided
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Roll out one can of crescent dough and press it evenly into the bottom of the dish.
- In a medium bowl, beat together the cream cheese, 1/2 cup of the sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the bottom dough layer.
- Roll out the second can of crescent dough and place it over the cream cheese layer.
- In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, remaining 1/2 cup sugar, and cinnamon together.
- Pour the cinnamon-sugar butter mixture evenly over the top dough layer.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
- Let cool completely before slicing into squares or bars for serving.
