Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup whole milk
2 large eggs
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- In a separate bowl, mix the milk, eggs, melted butter, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Transfer the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 50 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove and place on a wire rack.
- Brush the warm loaf with melted butter.
- Mix the sugar and cinnamon for the topping, then sprinkle and gently press it evenly over the buttered loaf.
- Allow the bread to cool completely before slicing and serving.
Notes
For a cinnamon swirl, layer half the batter in the pan, sprinkle cinnamon sugar, then add the remaining batter before baking.
Substitute part of the milk with buttermilk for a softer texture and slight tang.
Drizzle with a powdered sugar glaze for a sweeter, dessert-style version.
