Description

Creamy, protein-packed frozen yogurt bites with chocolate chips and a hint of maple syrup, offering a healthy, nostalgic cookie dough flavor. Perfect as a freezer snack or light dessert.


Ingredients

1 cup plain Greek yogurt (dairy or non-dairy)

2 tablespoons almond butter

2 tablespoons maple syrup

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 cup mini chocolate chips

1/4 cup almond flour

Pinch of sea salt


Instructions

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, almond butter, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add almond flour, mini chocolate chips, and a pinch of sea salt. Mix until well combined.
  3. Line a mini muffin pan with silicone liners or lightly grease it. Spoon the mixture evenly into each cavity.
  4. Use the back of a spoon to smooth out the tops of each bite.
  5. Place the tray in the freezer for at least 2 hours, or until the bites are completely firm.
  6. Once frozen, remove bites from the pan and store in an airtight container in the freezer.
  7. Let sit at room temperature for about 5 minutes before eating.

Notes

To make them nut-free, use sunflower seed butter and oat flour instead of almond-based ingredients.

Add a scoop of vanilla protein powder for extra protein.

Mix in chopped strawberries or blueberries for a fruity twist.

Drizzle melted dark chocolate over the tops before freezing for a chocolate lover’s version.
