Description

This creamy chicken pasta is the ultimate comfort food with tender chicken, a rich garlic sauce, and a generous amount of Parmesan. Ready in just 30 minutes, this dish combines simplicity, flavor, and heartiness.


Ingredients

2 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless, cut into bite-sized pieces

8 oz fettuccine or pasta of choice

1 tablespoon olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup chicken broth

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish


Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and browned. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add the chicken broth and heavy cream to the skillet. Stir to combine, scraping any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
  5. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 3-4 minutes, until it thickens slightly.
  6. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and cooked chicken, and let the sauce simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
  7. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the creamy sauce.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

If you have leftovers, store the creamy chicken pasta in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.

To reheat, warm it up on the stovetop over medium heat, adding a splash of chicken broth or cream if needed to loosen the sauce.
