Description

Ingredients
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
8 ounces penne or fettuccine pasta
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until golden and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove chicken and set aside.
- In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add butter. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Let the sauce simmer gently for 3-4 minutes to thicken slightly.
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and add the drained pasta. Toss everything together until the pasta is evenly coated in the creamy sauce and heated through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve immediately.
Notes
For a spicy kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
Swap chicken for shrimp or sautéed mushrooms for a vegetarian version.
You can use any pasta you prefer, such as spaghetti or rigatoni.
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
To reheat, add a splash of milk or cream to loosen the sauce and keep it creamy.
