Description

Ingredients

1/2 cup peanut butter (smooth or crunchy)

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 cup sugar

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 cup cocoa powder

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 cup chocolate chips (optional)

1/4 cup peanut butter chips (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together melted butter and peanut butter until smooth.
  3. Mix in sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring just until incorporated.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  7. Sprinkle chocolate or peanut butter chips on top, if using.
  8. Swirl additional peanut butter into the top using a spoon or knife to create a marbled effect.
  9. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.
  10. Let cool completely before cutting into squares.

Notes

Add chopped roasted peanuts on top for crunch.
