Description

A quick and satisfying tuna melt wrap with creamy, tangy filling and gooey melted cheese, ready in just 10 minutes.


Ingredients

1 can tuna, drained (about 140 g)

Salt to taste

Black pepper to taste

1 tablespoon spicy mayonnaise or regular mayonnaise

1 teaspoon relish

1 teaspoon honey Dijon mustard

Squeeze of fresh lemon juice

2 small tortillas

1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese


Instructions

  1. Drain the tuna well and place it in a mixing bowl. Use a fork to break it into small flakes.
  2. Add salt, black pepper, mayonnaise, relish, honey Dijon mustard, and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice. Mix until fully combined.
  3. Place the tortillas on a baking sheet and divide the tuna mixture evenly between them.
  4. Sprinkle the grated mozzarella cheese over the tuna mixture.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes, until the cheese melts and tortillas are slightly crispy.
  6. Fold into wraps and serve immediately while warm.

Notes

Swap mozzarella with cheddar, Monterey Jack, or provolone for different flavors.

Add tomato, red onion, jalapeños, or lettuce for extra texture and taste.

Use Greek yogurt instead of part of the mayonnaise for a lighter option.

Store tuna filling separately in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.

Reheat in oven or skillet to keep tortilla crisp; avoid microwave if possible.
