Description

Ingredients

1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 1/2 tablespoons hot cocoa mix

2 tablespoons granulated sugar

1 1/2 cups milk (any variety)

3 cups ice

Whipped cream (for topping)

Chocolate shavings or sprinkles (optional garnish)


Instructions

  1. Melt the chocolate chips in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth.
  2. Stir in the hot cocoa mix and sugar until fully combined.
  3. Whisk in 1/2 cup of milk gradually until the mixture is smooth. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature.
  4. Pour the cooled chocolate mixture into a blender.
  5. Add the remaining 1 cup of milk and 3 cups of ice to the blender. Blend until frothy and well mixed.
