Ingredients
1/2 cup peanut butter (natural or regular)
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/4 cup melted coconut oil (or vegetable oil)
1/2 cup pure maple syrup or honey
1/4 cup milk of choice
2 tsp pure vanilla extract
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup flour (all-purpose, oat, or gluten-free blend)
1/3 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)
Additional peanut butter for swirling on top
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8-inch square baking dish with parchment paper or grease lightly.
- In a mixing bowl, stir together the peanut butter, melted coconut oil, maple syrup, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Add the cocoa powder, salt, baking powder, and flour. Stir just until combined.
- Gently fold in mini chocolate chips if using.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Drop spoonfuls of additional peanut butter on top and swirl with a knife to create a marbled pattern.
- Bake for 20–22 minutes, or until the center is set. Avoid overbaking.
- Let the brownies cool completely before slicing for the best chewy texture.
