Description

Grilled Cheeseburger Wraps combine seasoned ground beef, melted cheese, and classic burger toppings wrapped in a crispy golden tortilla. They are quick, customizable, and perfect for busy weeknights or casual family meals.

Ingredients

1 lb (450g) ground beef (or turkey)

1 small onion, finely diced

2 garlic cloves, minced

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tbsp ketchup

1 tbsp yellow mustard (or to taste)

1 cup shredded cheddar or American cheese

4 large (10-inch) flour tortillas

Optional: chopped pickles

Optional: shredded lettuce

Optional: diced tomatoes

Optional: cooked bacon bits

Optional: burger sauce or mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Cook the ground beef and diced onion until the meat is browned and fully cooked. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  2. Add minced garlic, ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper. Stir well and cook for another 1–2 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.
  3. Lay tortillas flat and divide the beef mixture evenly among them, placing it in the center of each tortilla.
  4. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the beef and add any desired optional fillings.
  5. Fold in the sides of each tortilla and roll tightly like a burrito.
  6. Heat a lightly oiled grill pan or nonstick skillet over medium heat. Place wraps seam-side down and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Slice in half and serve warm with fries, coleslaw, or dipping sauces.

Notes

Ground turkey or chicken can be substituted for a lighter option.

Add smoked paprika or Worcestershire sauce for extra flavor.

For a spicy version, use jalapeños and pepper jack cheese.

Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 5–7 minutes, flipping halfway through, for extra crispiness.

Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheat in a skillet or air fryer for best texture.
