Ingredients
1 block (8 oz) feta cheese (preferably in brine)
2 tbsp olive oil
1–2 tbsp hot honey (adjust to spice preference)
1 tsp dried oregano or thyme
Fresh cracked black pepper to taste
Red pepper flakes (optional, for extra heat)
Fresh herbs (like thyme, rosemary, or basil), for garnish
For serving: Crusty bread, crackers, or fresh veggies (carrots, cucumber, etc.)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the block of feta in a small oven-safe dish.
- Drizzle the olive oil and hot honey evenly over the feta. Sprinkle with dried oregano or thyme.
- Add freshly cracked black pepper to taste and a pinch of red pepper flakes if extra heat is desired.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the feta is golden and bubbly on top.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh herbs like thyme or rosemary.
- Serve immediately with crusty bread, crackers, or fresh veggies for dipping.
- For extra indulgence, drizzle more honey on top after baking or add crushed pistachios for crunch.
