Description
This Iced English Tea Latte is cool, creamy, and gently energizing with a smooth, lightly sweet flavor. It’s an easy coffeehouse-style drink you can make at home in minutes.
Ingredients
2 English Breakfast tea bags (or Earl Grey for a twist)
1/2 cup boiling water
3/4 cup milk (any kind – oat, almond, whole, etc.)
1–2 tsp sweetener (sugar, honey, maple syrup – your choice)
Ice
Optional: dash of vanilla extract or a sprinkle of cinnamon
Instructions
- Place the tea bags in a mug and pour the boiling water over them. Steep for 5–7 minutes until strong and bold.
- Remove the tea bags and allow the tea to cool slightly. While still warm, stir in the sweetener until fully dissolved.
- Fill a glass with ice and pour the cooled tea over the ice.
- Add the milk and stir well until smooth and combined.
- Optional: Add a splash of vanilla extract or a sprinkle of cinnamon. For a frothy finish, shake everything in a sealed jar or blend briefly before serving.
Notes
For a floral flavor, use Earl Grey tea instead of English Breakfast.
For a spiced version, substitute chai tea.
Oat milk creates a naturally sweeter, creamier texture, while almond milk keeps it lighter.
For stronger tea flavor, steep longer or use an extra tea bag.
Store brewed and sweetened tea in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Add ice and milk just before serving.
