Ingredients
12 slices of deli salami
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup chopped dill pickles
1/4 cup chopped red bell pepper
1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Optional: baby spinach or arugula leaves for added crunch
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, chopped pickles, red bell pepper, chives, garlic powder, and a pinch of black pepper until well combined.
- Lay the salami slices flat on a clean surface or cutting board.
- Spread about 1 teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture evenly over each slice of salami.
- If desired, place a small spinach or arugula leaf on top for extra crunch.
- Roll each salami slice tightly into a log and place seam side down on a plate.
- Refrigerate the roll-ups for at least 15 minutes to help them firm up.
- Serve chilled or at room temperature.
