1/2 cup powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the melted butter, granulated sugar, lemon zest, lemon juice, milk, and vanilla extract. Stir until well incorporated.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased 8×8-inch baking dish. Do not stir or spread out the batter.
  5. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
