Description
A luscious and easy-to-make layered dessert combining creamy cheesecake, fresh strawberries, and a crunchy graham cracker crust—no oven needed! This dessert is perfect for any occasion, especially when you want something delicious and simple to prepare.
Ingredients
2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
16 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups heavy whipping cream, chilled
1/4 cup granulated sugar
4 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
2 cups cold milk
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until evenly mixed. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish to form the crust. Refrigerate while preparing the layers.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- In a separate chilled bowl, whip the heavy cream with granulated sugar until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and cold milk until thickened (about 2 minutes).
- Spread half of the cream cheese mixture evenly over the graham cracker crust.
- Layer half of the sliced strawberries evenly over the cream cheese layer.
- Pour and spread half of the prepared vanilla pudding over the strawberries.
- Repeat layering with remaining cream cheese mixture, strawberries, and pudding.
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow the layers to set.
- Before serving, garnish with additional fresh strawberries if desired.
Notes
This dessert can be made ahead of time, ideally 4 hours or overnight for the best results.
For a different crust, try crushed cookies like Oreos or shortbread.
If using frozen strawberries, thaw and drain them well to avoid excess moisture.
For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with whipped coconut cream or use low-fat cream cheese.
