Description

A quick homemade frozen treat for dogs made with creamy peanut butter, Greek yogurt, and a touch of honey. This simple no-cook recipe blends together in minutes and freezes into a cool snack perfect for warm days.

Ingredients

1 cup plain Greek yogurt

1 cup creamy peanut butter

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1 tablespoon honey

Instructions

  1. Add the Greek yogurt, peanut butter, honey, and cinnamon to a blender or mixing bowl.
  2. Blend or mix until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy.
  3. Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container, or divide it into small cups, molds, or ice cube trays.
  4. Place in the freezer for about 1–2 hours until firm enough to serve.
  5. If the mixture freezes too hard, allow it to sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes before scooping or serving.

Notes

Always use peanut butter that does not contain xylitol, which is toxic to dogs.

You can blend in 1/2 ripe banana for extra natural sweetness and creaminess.

A spoonful of plain pumpkin puree can be added for extra flavor and gentle digestion.

Pouring the mixture into silicone molds or ice cube trays creates easy bite-sized frozen treats.

Store in a sealed freezer-safe container for up to 2 weeks to prevent freezer odors and ice crystals.

Let frozen portions soften for 5–10 minutes before serving for a creamier texture.
