Description

Ingredients

16 ounces cream cheese, softened to room temperature

1 cup salted butter, softened to room temperature

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

6 cups confectioners powdered sugar

2½ cups freeze-dried strawberries, blended into a fine powder


Instructions

  1. Beat the softened cream cheese and butter together with a mixer until light, smooth, and fluffy, about 4 minutes.
  2. Add the vanilla extract and beat for another 1 minute until fully incorporated.
  3. Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing steadily until the frosting becomes thick, smooth, and creamy.
  4. Add the powdered freeze-dried strawberries and beat until evenly blended and the frosting turns a soft pink color.
  5. Refrigerate the frosting for about 30 minutes before piping or spreading to help it firm up.

Notes

Use unsalted butter instead of salted butter for a less salty flavor.

Add extra freeze-dried strawberry powder for a stronger berry taste.

Clear vanilla extract helps maintain a brighter pink color.

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.

Let frosting sit at room temperature before use and re-whip if needed.
