Description
These Butterfinger Caramel Crunch Bars are a sweet, crunchy, and decadent treat, combining the smoothness of caramel with the irresistible crunch of Butterfinger candy bars.
Ingredients
2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup peanut butter
1 1/2 cups Butterfinger candy bars, chopped
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
1/2 cup caramel sauce
Instructions
- In a medium-sized bowl, mix together graham cracker crumbs, powdered sugar, melted butter, and peanut butter until fully combined.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, forming an even layer.
- Sprinkle the chopped Butterfinger candy bars evenly over the peanut butter mixture.
- In a small saucepan, melt the chocolate chips over low heat, stirring until smooth. Once melted, pour the chocolate over the candy bar layer, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
- Drizzle the caramel sauce over the chocolate layer in a crisscross pattern.
- Refrigerate the dish for at least 2 hours or until firm, then cut into bars and serve.
Notes
If the bars are too sweet, reduce the powdered sugar or swap milk chocolate for dark chocolate.
These bars can be frozen for up to 2-3 months if wrapped in plastic wrap and stored in an airtight container.
They are no-bake, so simply chill them in the fridge to firm up.
Crunchy peanut butter can be used for extra texture if preferred.
