Description
These Campfire Cones are a fun and easy dessert filled with melted chocolate, gooey marshmallows, and fresh fruit inside a crispy waffle cone. Perfect for campfires, grills, or backyard gatherings, they come together in just minutes.
Ingredients
1 waffle cone
1/4 cup mini marshmallows
1/4 cup chocolate chips
1/4 banana, sliced
5 strawberries, chopped
10 raspberries
Optional caramel sauce
Optional peanut butter cups or caramel candies
Instructions
- Place a few mini marshmallows into the bottom of the waffle cone to help prevent melted chocolate from leaking out.
- Fill the cone with chocolate chips, banana slices, strawberries, raspberries, and additional marshmallows.
- Pack the ingredients generously, allowing room for melting.
- Wrap the entire cone tightly with aluminum foil.
- Place the wrapped cone over a campfire or on a grill and cook for 3–5 minutes until the filling is warm and melted.
- Carefully remove the cone using heat-safe gloves or tongs and unwrap the foil.
- Drizzle with caramel sauce if desired and serve immediately.
Notes
Swap strawberries and raspberries for blueberries, blackberries, or diced peaches.
Add crushed cookies or graham crackers for extra texture.
Use white chocolate, peanut butter, or butterscotch chips for variation.
Add peanut butter cups, caramel candies, or chopped chocolate bars for a richer dessert.
Best enjoyed immediately after cooking while warm and gooey.
Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 1 day and reheat gently in foil.
