Description

This Caramel Apple Pie Fudge is a creamy, rich treat infused with apple cider, warm spices, and swirled with dulce de leche for a cozy, melt-in-your-mouth dessert.

Ingredients

3/4 cup apple cider

3/4 cup unsalted butter, cut into cubes

1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk

3 cups granulated sugar

1 bag (11 ounces) white chocolate chips

1/4 cup finely diced dried apple

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 1/4 teaspoons apple pie spice

3 tablespoons dulce de leche

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a large saucepan, combine apple cider, butter, sweetened condensed milk, and sugar. Bring to a rolling boil while stirring constantly and cook for 5 minutes.
  3. Reduce heat to low and stir in white chocolate chips until smooth and fully melted.
  4. Add dried apple, vanilla extract, and apple pie spice. Mix well for about 1 minute.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  6. Warm the dulce de leche in the microwave for 15–20 seconds, drizzle over the fudge, and swirl with a knife.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight until firm.
  8. Lift out using parchment paper, cut into squares, and serve.

Notes

Add chopped pecans or walnuts for extra crunch.

Use freeze-dried apples for a slightly tart flavor.

Mix a bit of dulce de leche into the fudge base for deeper caramel flavor.

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.

Freeze for up to 3 months; thaw slightly before serving.

Ensure a full rolling boil for proper setting.
