This Caramel Apple Pie Fudge is a creamy, rich treat infused with apple cider, warm spices, and swirled with dulce de leche for a cozy, melt-in-your-mouth dessert.
Ingredients
3/4 cup apple cider
3/4 cup unsalted butter, cut into cubes
1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
3 cups granulated sugar
1 bag (11 ounces) white chocolate chips
1/4 cup finely diced dried apple
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/4 teaspoons apple pie spice
3 tablespoons dulce de leche
Instructions
- Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a large saucepan, combine apple cider, butter, sweetened condensed milk, and sugar. Bring to a rolling boil while stirring constantly and cook for 5 minutes.
- Reduce heat to low and stir in white chocolate chips until smooth and fully melted.
- Add dried apple, vanilla extract, and apple pie spice. Mix well for about 1 minute.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Warm the dulce de leche in the microwave for 15–20 seconds, drizzle over the fudge, and swirl with a knife.
- Refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight until firm.
- Lift out using parchment paper, cut into squares, and serve.
Notes
Add chopped pecans or walnuts for extra crunch.
Use freeze-dried apples for a slightly tart flavor.
Mix a bit of dulce de leche into the fudge base for deeper caramel flavor.
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
