Ingredients
1 large head cauliflower
1/4 cup olive oil
2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Remove the cauliflower leaves while keeping the core intact, then slice the cauliflower into thick steaks.
- In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Brush the seasoning mixture generously over both sides of each cauliflower steak.
- Arrange the steaks on the prepared baking sheet and roast for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through cooking.
- Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese evenly over the roasted cauliflower steaks.
- Return to the oven and bake for 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and lightly golden.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
Notes
Add crushed red pepper flakes for extra heat.
Substitute mozzarella with cheddar, provolone, or Monterey Jack cheese.
