Description

Ingredients

3 ripe mangos, diced

1 medium red bell pepper, chopped

1/2 cup chopped red onion

1/4 cup packed fresh cilantro leaves, chopped

1 jalapeño, seeded and minced

Juice of 1 large lime (about 1/4 cup)

1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon salt, to taste


Instructions

  1. Combine the diced mangos, chopped red bell pepper, red onion, cilantro, and minced jalapeño in a large serving bowl.
  2. Pour the fresh lime juice over the mixture.
  3. Gently stir until all ingredients are evenly combined.
  4. Season with salt to taste and stir again.
  5. Let the salsa rest for at least 10 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.
  6. Serve chilled with tortilla chips, tacos, grilled fish, salads, or your favorite Mexican-inspired dishes.

Notes

Add diced avocado for a creamy variation.
