Description

A rich and creamy no-bake dessert layered with Oreo crumbs, peanut butter vanilla pudding filling, decadent chocolate cream, and fluffy whipped topping. Perfect for parties, potlucks, and make-ahead entertaining.

Ingredients

12 oz milk chocolate chips, divided

3½ cups milk

1 package Oreos (14.3 oz)

16 oz cream cheese, softened and divided

1 box instant vanilla pudding mix (3.4 oz)

1 cup creamy peanut butter

1 box instant chocolate pudding mix (3.4 oz)

12 oz whipped topping

Additional chocolate chips, shaved chocolate, or chopped peanuts for garnish, optional

Instructions

  1. Place the Oreos in a food processor and pulse until they form fine crumbs. Set aside.
  2. Combine 6 ounces of the chocolate chips with ¼ cup of milk in a small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in short intervals, stirring between each interval, until melted and smooth. Set aside to cool slightly.
  3. Spread one-third of the Oreo crumbs over the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish and gently press into an even layer.
  4. Beat 8 ounces of softened cream cheese in a large mixing bowl until smooth. Add the vanilla pudding mix and creamy peanut butter and mix until well combined.
  5. Gradually add 1¾ cups of milk while beating until the peanut butter filling is smooth and creamy. Spread evenly over the Oreo layer.
  6. Sprinkle another one-third of the Oreo crumbs evenly over the peanut butter filling.
  7. In a separate bowl, beat the remaining 8 ounces of softened cream cheese until smooth. Add the chocolate pudding mix, cooled melted chocolate mixture, and remaining 1½ cups of milk. Beat until creamy and well combined.
  8. Carefully spread the chocolate filling evenly over the second Oreo crumb layer.
  9. Sprinkle the remaining Oreo crumbs over the chocolate filling.
  10. Spread the whipped topping evenly over the dessert.
  11. Garnish with additional chocolate chips, shaved chocolate, or chopped peanuts, if desired.
  12. Refrigerate for 4–6 hours, or until thoroughly chilled and firm enough to slice. Serve cold.

Notes

For extra peanut butter flavor, add chopped peanut butter cups between the layers or over the whipped topping.

For more cookie texture, reserve a few Oreos, roughly chop them, and scatter them over the dessert just before serving.

Dark or semisweet chocolate chips can replace milk chocolate chips for a deeper, less sweet chocolate flavor.

A drizzle of melted chocolate or peanut butter and chopped peanuts can be added as a garnish.

Crunchy peanut butter can replace creamy peanut butter for additional texture.

Different Oreo varieties can be used to customize the flavor.

Cover tightly and refrigerate leftovers for up to 3–4 days.

This dessert can be prepared the night before serving and kept refrigerated.

Serve directly from the refrigerator for the firmest layers and easiest slicing.
