This easy homemade peach sorbet is bursting with fresh peach flavor and requires only three ingredients with no ice cream maker needed. It’s a refreshing, naturally dairy-free dessert that’s perfect for warm days.
Ingredients
800 g peeled and sliced ripe yellow peaches (fresh or frozen)
200 g caster sugar
1 tbsp lemon juice, added to taste
Instructions
- Slice the peaches into eight wedges and peel each slice.
- Place the peach slices and caster sugar into a food processor or blender.
- Blend until completely smooth, scraping down the sides as needed.
- Gradually add the lemon juice, tasting after each addition until the sweetness and acidity are balanced.
- Transfer the mixture into a freezer-safe container.
- Freeze for 6–7 hours, or until firm enough to scoop.
- Let the sorbet sit at room temperature for 5–10 minutes if needed before serving, then scoop and enjoy.
Notes
Replace part of the peaches with ripe mangoes for a tropical variation.
Add fresh raspberries before blending for a tangy flavor and vibrant color.
Blend in fresh mint for a refreshing twist.
Honey or maple syrup may be substituted for caster sugar, though texture and flavor may vary.
Add a pinch of ground ginger or cinnamon for subtle warmth.
Store in an airtight freezer-safe container for up to 2 weeks.
Press parchment paper or plastic wrap directly onto the surface to help reduce ice crystals.
Do not reheat; allow the sorbet to soften at room temperature before scooping if frozen solid.
