Ingredients
1/2 large watermelon
1/2 cup vanilla yogurt
1 cup strawberries, hulled
1 tablespoon honey
Instructions
- Cut the watermelon in half, then slice it into 1/2-inch thick rounds.
- Cut each round in half to create semi-circle pieces.
- Using a crinkle cutter or a sharp knife, slice the watermelon into fry-shaped sticks.
- Trim away the rind and arrange the watermelon fries on a serving platter.
- Add the vanilla yogurt, strawberries, and honey to a blender.
- Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Transfer the strawberry yogurt dip to a small serving bowl.
- Serve the chilled dip alongside the watermelon fries and enjoy immediately.
Notes
Use Greek yogurt instead of vanilla yogurt for a thicker, higher-protein dip.
Add a squeeze of fresh lime juice for a bright citrus flavor.
Blend in raspberries for a mixed berry variation.
Top the watermelon fries with shredded coconut or chia seeds before serving.
Store watermelon fries and dip separately in airtight containers in the refrigerator. Watermelon keeps up to 2 days and the dip up to 3 days.
Freezing is not recommended, as the watermelon becomes watery after thawing.
