This creamy mango mousse is a light, fruity no-bake dessert made with sweet mango puree, whipped cream, and instant pudding for a smooth and airy texture without gelatin.
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups cold heavy cream
1 1/2 cups mango puree
1/3 cup powdered sugar
3 tablespoons vanilla instant pudding
Instructions
- Blend ripe mangoes until smooth to make the mango puree. Reserve 1/2 cup of puree for topping.
- In a large bowl, beat the cold heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla instant pudding until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the mango puree into the whipped cream mixture until smooth and fully combined.
- Pipe or spoon the mousse into 5 serving cups.
- Cover and chill for at least 5 hours until firm and creamy.
- Top with the reserved mango puree, fresh fruit, or whipped cream before serving.
Notes
Add lime zest for a fresh citrus flavor.
Layer with crushed cookies, diced mango, or whipped cream for a parfait-style dessert.
Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Serve chilled and do not freeze, as the texture may change after thawing.
Canned mango puree can be used if it is smooth and not too watery.
