Ingredients
1 tablespoon orange zest, finely diced
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
16 ounces orange juice
1 teaspoon almond extract
6 ounces fresh raspberries, rinsed and drained
Instructions
- Combine the orange zest and granulated sugar in a small bowl.
- Rub the zest and sugar together with your fingertips or a fork until fragrant and slightly moist.
- Stir in the orange juice and almond extract until fully combined.
- Divide the raspberries evenly among 10 popsicle molds. Lightly crush the berries first if a smoother texture is desired.
- Pour the orange juice mixture evenly into each mold.
- Insert the popsicle sticks and secure the molds according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Freeze for at least 4 hours, or until completely solid.
- Remove from the molds and serve immediately.
Notes
Substitute raspberries with strawberries, blueberries, or blackberries for a different flavor.
Use blood orange juice for a deeper citrus flavor and richer color.
Vanilla extract can replace almond extract for a milder taste.
Honey may be used instead of granulated sugar if preferred.
Add a few fresh mint leaves to each mold for extra freshness.
