Ingredients
1 large onion, chopped (1 cup)
1 pound ground beef
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup Bisquick mix
1 cup milk
2 eggs
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) and lightly grease a 9-inch pie dish.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped onion and ground beef together until the beef is browned and fully cooked.
- Drain any excess fat, stir in the salt, and spread the beef mixture evenly into the prepared pie dish.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the beef mixture.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the Bisquick mix, milk, and eggs until smooth.
- Pour the batter evenly over the beef and cheese in the pie dish.
- Bake for about 25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
